Team del Sol is based in San, Diego, one of Southern California’s most popular vacation destinations. We are proud to represent the San Diego Figure Skating Club in the Intermediate and Senior divisions. Our mission is to encourage and develop the sport of synchronized skating within our skater as well as the community as a whole. We are dedicated to teaching the ideals of sportsmanship, both competitively and individually.
Since our establishment in 1984, Team del Sol has been a Pacific Coast Gold medalist since 1985. Recently, our Intermediate team achieved the gold medal at the National Championships in 2010 and 2013. Since the reestablishment of our Senior team in 2015, Senior was appointed their first international assignment in 2016 at the Trophy D’Ecosse in Dumfries, Scotland. There, they took the gold medal, along with two achievement awards for best performance. As an organization, our goal is to develop a solid foundation of skating skills, speed, and strength in order to achieve future national and international titles in both divisions.
